The Ten Betta Commandments

Thou shalt browse the web and obtain as much information as you can before you buy or attempt to breed Bettas.

Thou shall not seek to keep two males together, ever!!!

Thou shalt not add a female straight into a tank with a male.

Thou shalt always condition your Bettas before attempting to spawn.

Thou shalt always ensure that your Bettas water is the correct temperature.

Thou shalt not entrust ones local Satan shop when seeking advice about Bettas.

Thou shalt always use Almond leaves in your Betta tank.

Thou shalt never keep your Betta in a tiny tank or bowl, they need / deserve at least 5 gallons of water. Preferably more. Only one of Satans helpers would keep a Betta in a commercial Betta bowl.

Thou shalt quarantine all fish before adding your Betta or adding other fish into your beloved Bettas tank.

Thou shalt not listen to Satan when in your local fish shop considering an impulse purchase.
